Now, you can build a website with only the everyday digital skills most people have by managing email, browsing and using a few apps.

If you can use a smartphone, you can make your own website. Website making has been made accessible to everyone via cloud-based website builders such as Squarespace and Wix. It’s free to set up an account so you can have a play around. You only have to pay at the point of publishing your website onto a domain name that you’ve bought.
